Truckee-area home sales: Real estate prices in Truckee the week of Aug. 13
The median price per square foot for a home in Truckee decreased in the past week to $570, which is the highest in the county. That’s $154 more than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Truckee was $627.
After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is Placer County foothills, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $287.
The best deal can be found in Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $276.
In the past week, a 2,454-square-foot home on Roundhill Drive in Truckee sold for $1,399,000.
The figures in this text are based on sales registered during the week of Aug. 14.
