South Sacramento-area home sales: Real estate prices in South Sacramento the week of Aug. 27

The median price per square foot for a home in South Sacramento decreased in the past week to $271. That’s $40 less than the Sacramento County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in South Sacramento was $296.

The most expensive community in Sacramento County is Downtown and Midtown, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $425.

The best deal can be found in Arden Arcade, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $265.

In the past week, a 2,093-square-foot home on Sweetdale Court in South Sacramento sold for $569,000.
