Truckee-area home sales: Real estate prices in Truckee the week of Aug. 27
The median price per square foot for a home in Truckee decreased in the past week to $567, which is the highest in the county. That’s $213 more than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Truckee was $660.
After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is Placer County foothills, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $344.
The best deal can be found in Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $320.
In the past week, a 2,175-square-foot home on Hansel Avenue in Truckee sold for $1,235,000.
