Placer County foothills-area home sales: Real estate prices in Placer County foothills the week of Sep. 3

The median price per square foot for a home in Placer County foothills decreased in the past week to $321, which is the lowest in the county. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Placer County foothills was $344.

The most expensive community in Nevada County is Truckee, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $580.

Outside of Placer County foothills, the best deal can be found in Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $328.

In the past week, a 2,564-square-foot home on Torrey Pines Drive in Auburn sold for $825,000.
