Truckee-area home sales: Real estate prices in Truckee the week of Sep. 3

The median price per square foot for a home in Truckee increased in the past week to $580, which is the highest in the county. That’s $229 more than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Truckee was $567.

After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $328.

The best deal can be found in Placer County foothills, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $321.

In the past week, a 2,086-square-foot home on Swiss Lane in Truckee sold for $1,210,000.
