Truckee-area home sales: Real estate prices in Truckee the week of Sep. 10

The median price per square foot for a home in Truckee increased in the past week to $627, which is the highest in the county. That’s $292 more than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Truckee was $580.

After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $308.

The best deal can be found in Placer County foothills, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $278.

In the past week, a 932-square-foot home on Northwoods Boulevard in Truckee sold for $585,000.
