Truckee-area home sales: Real estate prices in Truckee the week of Oct. 1

The median price per square foot for a home in Truckee decreased in the past week to $564, which is the highest in the county. That’s $191 more than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Truckee was $588.

After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is The Sacramento Area, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $327.

The best deal can be found in Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $311.

In the past week, a 2,124-square-foot home on Roundhill Drive in Truckee sold for $1,200,000.
