After Tahoe West Shore, the most expensive community in Placer County is Tahoe North Shore, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $677.
The best deal can be found in North Sacramento, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $299.
In the past week, a 924-square-foot home on Timber Wolf Drive in Tahoe West Shore sold for $650,000.
