South Sacramento-area home sales: Real estate prices in South Sacramento the week of Oct. 8

The median price per square foot for a home in South Sacramento increased in the past week to $313. That’s $11 less than the Sacramento County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in South Sacramento was $295.

The most expensive community in Sacramento County is East Sacramento, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $554.

The best deal can be found in Sloughhouse/Rancho Murieta/Wilton, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $255.

In the past week, a 2,493-square-foot home on Creek Estates Way in South Sacramento sold for $782,500.
