Grass Valley/Nevada City-area home sales: Real estate prices in Grass Valley/Nevada City the week of Oct. 8

The median price per square foot for a home in Grass Valley/Nevada City decreased in the past week to $293, which is the lowest in the county. That’s $64 less than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Grass Valley/Nevada City was $311.

The most expensive community in Nevada County is Truckee, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $557.

Outside of Grass Valley/Nevada City, the best deal can be found in Placer County foothills, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $297.

In the past week, a 1,820-square-foot home on Sharon Way in Grass Valley/Nevada City sold for $535,000.
