Truckee-area home sales: Real estate prices in Truckee the week of Oct. 8

The median price per square foot for a home in Truckee decreased in the past week to $557, which is the highest in the county. That’s $200 more than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Truckee was $564.

After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is the Sacramento Area, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $337.

The best deal can be found in Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $293.

In the past week, a 1,116-square-foot home on River Road in Truckee sold for $622,500.

The figures in this text are based on sales registered during the week of Oct. 9.
