Truckee-area home sales: Real estate prices in Truckee the week of Oct. 15

The median price per square foot for a home in Truckee increased in the past week to $626, which is the highest in the county. That’s $313 more than the Nevada County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Truckee was $557.

After Truckee, the most expensive community in Nevada County is the Sacramento Area, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $328.

The best deal can be found in Grass Valley/Nevada City, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $266.

In the past week, a 3,586-square-foot home on Swiss Lane in Truckee sold for $2,245,000.

The figures in this text are based on sales registered during the week of Oct. 16.
