Placerville-area home sales: Real estate prices in Placerville the week of Oct. 22

The median price per square foot for a home in Placerville decreased in the past week to $257, which is the lowest in the county. That’s $68 less than the El Dorado County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Placerville was $278.

The most expensive community in El Dorado County is Tahoe West Shore, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $463.

Outside of Placerville, the best deal can be found in El Dorado County foothills, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $275.

In the past week, a 1,456-square-foot home on Juniper Lane in Placerville sold for $375,000.
