South Sacramento-area home sales: Real estate prices in South Sacramento the week of Nov. 12

The median price per square foot for a home in South Sacramento increased in the past week to $354. That’s $17 more than the Sacramento County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in South Sacramento was $291.

The most expensive community in Sacramento County is Folsom, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $425.

The best deal can be found in Elk Grove West of Hwy 99, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $269.

In the past week, a 960-square-foot home on Monaghan Circle in South Sacramento sold for $340,000.
