Sacramento’s Hank Fisher Properties to sell four local senior communities

Sacramento-based Hank Fisher Properties has entered into an agreement to sell its four local senior communities.

Spokeswoman Rosemary O’Brien declined to name the buyer but said it’s “a company known for its reputation in senior living.”

Hank Fisher Properties operates River’s Edge at 601 Feature Drive in Sacramento, the neighboring Chateau at River’s Edge, the Chateau on Capitol Avenue at 2701 Capitol Ave. in Sacramento; and the Chateau at Carmichael Park at 7125 Fair Oaks Blvd. in Carmichael.

There are more than 500 residents and nearly 250 employees at the four properties. Employees will be updated, O’Brien said. An October closing is expected, she said.
