Lyon report: Brisk home sales in Sacramento region, stable median price
The Sacramento area saw another brisk month of home sales in August, according to statistics released Thursday by Lyon Real Estate.
Lyon said new pending sales totaled 2,885 in August, the highest monthly count in 2015. The median sales price remained at $330,000 for a third straight month.
Sold and closed escrows from June through August were up 14 percent compared with the same three-month period in 2014.
Lyon’s report for the four-county area was based on data compiled by the Sacramento-based real estate tracking firm Trendgraphix Inc.
