Wouldn’t it be nice to buy this Santa Barbara complex once owned by Mike Love of the Beach Boys?

A Santa Barbara estate once owned by Mike Love of the Beach Boys has hit the market, according to the broker—and if you’re feeling the good vibrations, it’s all yours for $14.95 million.

The oceanfront retreat sprawls over 2.5 acres of Santa Barbara coastline, including 200 feet of private bluff with unobstructed Pacific Ocean views to the Channel Islands.

The estate is on the market for the first time, according to the official listing, which states it was previously owned by Mike Love of the iconic Beach Boys rock band. The property actually consists of five ocean-view cottages “set on one of the single largest oceanfront parcels in Santa Barbara.”

Daniel Zia and the Zia Group of Keller Williams Realty have the listing.

“Once home to the lead singer of The Beach Boys, Mike Love, the ‘Love Compound’, as it’s affectionately referred to around town, served as a sanctuary for creativity and rejuvenation,” according to the Zia Group of Keller Williams Realty. “One of the cottages was originally built as a recording studio for The Beach Boys. Initially, the property was used as a Girl Scout camp . . . which Julia Child visited during her childhood enjoying pancake breakfasts on the bluff.”

The stunning property also has guest quarters, a music studio, a workshop and a storage shed. The entire compound totals 13 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and more than 10,500 square feet of living space.

The largest house, dubbed Love Cottage, has more than 3,000 square feet of living space.

The listing suggests three ownership options: 100 percent ownership of all structures; 43 percent ownership with exclusive rights to occupy four of the cottages, including Love Cottage; or 14 percent ownership with exclusive right to the 1,510-square-foot, two-bedroom, 3 bath Bliss Cottage.

Love, 78, is a singer, songwriter and co-founder of the Beach Boys rock group, known for creating the “California Sound.” The band’s hits include “I Get Around,” “Fun, Fun, Fun” and “Good Vibrations.”
