Video shows fire crews extracting trapped diver on I-80 near Lake Tahoe
Cal Fire released video showing the effort to extract a semi truck driver after a crash on Interstate 80 Tuesday blocked the roadway near Emigrant Gap for about six hours.
All lanes of Interstate 80 reopened Tuesday evening, January 28, 2020. The California Highway Patrol, Placer County sheriff’s deputies and fire personnel responded throughout the day.
At least one person suffered major injuries and was transported to a hospital, according to the CHP incident log.
