Warning as 5 mountain lions stroll past Plumas County porch: Take care of kids, pets

Surveillance video captured a group of mountain lions walking past a woman’s home in Plumas County, California, prompting the sheriff’s office to issue a warning for residents to take care of children and pets on December 8.

The video was taken by Portola resident Nicole Ourjanian’s Ring camera, and shows four of the animals strolling past her porch.

“At least five mountain lions were seen together on a piece of property off Craig Road,” the sheriff’s office said Wednesday. “Do not leave children unattended near this area and be mindful to secure any pets or livestock you may have, to the best of your ability.”
