Mount Shasta timelapse shows clouds rolling through the area
Heavy snow, gusty winds, and the possibility of whiteout conditions were in the forecast for Northern California as the holidays approached, the National Weather Service (NWS) said on Tuesday, December 22.

The NWS warned that “stormy weather” would persist “over the next few days.” Mountain travel was discouraged as higher elevations reported snow accumulating. “Multiple feet” of snow were expected in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the NWS said.
