Who rides waves better?
A video captured a pod of dolphins joining a group of California surfers in a remarkable up-close encounter.
The dolphins swim next to and leap within feet of the surfers in the video out of Carpinteria, posted January 24, 2022.
This video taken by Jim Russi, who said he filmed it at the popular surf spot Rincon Point.
“In my 40-plus years of traveling the world, photographing waves and surfers for the magazines, this is the best example of who the ‘real surfers’ are,” Russi said of his video.
