A perfect house for sale that even Zillow Gone Wild ‘can’t tease’? Check it out
It’s rare when a home is such an architectural marvel that folks on social media are rendered speechless, but one estate on the market in Boulder, Colorado, has done just that.
And it is listed for $3.65 million.
“Perched atop Sunshine Canyon sits one of Boulder, Colorado’s most architecturally significant homes, a secluded sanctuary where 270-degree views fill every room,” the listing on Compass says of the futuristic-looking residence.
The owners bought the land in 2013 and later built the intriguing-looking estate on top of the ashes of a natural disaster that happened in the area years before, according to Mansion Global.
“I’m a junkie for good views, and this hilltop woodlands had been the site of the disastrous Fourmile Canyon Fire in 2010 that destroyed more than 100 houses, including the one on the property we bought,” Rob Steinway, an owner of the home, told the outlet. “All the trees were destroyed, so the view is unobstructed and stunning.”
The three-bedroom, four-bedroom house is just as dramatic inside as it is outside and is filled to the brim with features including:
Eight-car parking garage
Courtyard
Floor-to-ceiling windows
Hardwood floors
Indoor/outdoor floor plan
Patio access
Primary spa bathroom
Media room
Laundry room
Motor court
“In-floor hydraulic lift”
Zillow Gone Wild, a popular Facebook page that highlights unique houses for sale, is known for making jokes regarding the homes it features, but this one? Nope. Fans are dumbfounded when it comes to this particular residence.
“Here’s one house I can’t tease. I know there’s a lot of windows but I like it on this house,” one person said. “The interior also is very nice--clearly with a lot of natural lighting.”
“I’ll take it, thanks,” another commented.
“Fabulous home, been right up there. Lovely if you enjoy wind off the foothills,” someone gushed.
“The views are great. Even the cars have a view!” one person observed.
“It’s too big for me, but this house is great, with fabulous views. There’s nothing not to like,” another said.
“Uh... this is Zillow Gone AWESOME!” someone commented.
The listing is held by Zach Zeldner.
