See the incredible super sports car unveiled in Northern California

Lamborghini unveiled the new super sports car Temerario at a Monterey Car Week event along the California coast last weekend

With the Italian car company’s executive team on stage and an eager crowd awaiting, the new Lambo appeared from under a black sheet, a new video shows.

The debut happened during an event at The Quail, A Motorsprots Gathering, which is a part of the luxury car happenings every year along the central coast.

“At Monterey Car Week, every luxury and performance automaker aims to wow the world at a seemingly endless series of events sprinkled along the California coastline,” Forbes magazine reported. “Yet the most highly anticipated debuts of each year tend to happen at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, and this year was no different.”

The Temerario is Lamborghini’s latest addition to its High Performance Electrified Vehicle lineup. The car succeeds the Huracán and can reach a top speed of more than 210 mph while accelerating from 0-62 mph in 2.7 seconds, , according to Lamborghini. The engine is capable of reaching 10,000 rpm. The hybrid powertrain combines an all-new twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors, delivering a total output of 920 horsepower.

“It is an extraordinary and innovative vehicle, both technically and stylistically,” Stephan Winkelmann, chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said.
