Man’s clothes catch on fire during Northern California sideshow, video shows
A man’s clothes caught on fire after he was hit by a car during a sideshow on Sunday in Vallejo, California, a video shows.
The video shows him screaming in pain on the ground.
Vallejo police were investigating several sideshows over the weekend, according to news reports.
The driver of a yellow Mustang spun in circles before crashing into pedestrians at Sonoma Boulevard and Lemon Street, Fox KTVU reported.
Another sideshow at BW Williams and Lewis Brown drives is where a man was seen running away with his clothes on fire after he was hit by a car, the Bay Area television station reported.
A hospital reported that a man was being treated for an injury sustained during a sideshow, according to KTVU.
Meanwhile, ABC7 News reported that neighbors are fed up with the chaos of sideshows near their homes.
“Had I known they were doing sideshows, I would have never moved here,” Patricia Williams told the news station.
The home of Patricia and Paul Williams was damaged when spectators at the sideshow started to climb onto their roof to see the car stunts, according to photos sent to ABC7 News.
