A man was arrested after being accused of sexually assaulting a 75-year-old woman in her home, California authorities said.
On Oct. 31, Tony Choi, a 52-year-old local dog groomer, went up to the woman and asked her if she needed her dogs to be washed, according to a news release by San Diego County deputies and KFMB.
After talking his way into her home, he sexually assaulted her, deputies said.
The woman’s caretaker walked into the room during the assault, causing Choi to leave the scene, the sheriff’s office said.
Choi was arrested at his Solana Beach home, deputies said.
He faces charges of sexual assault and elder abuse, authorities said.
