Gambler sits down at slot machine and wins ‘life-changing’ jackpot in California
A lucky gambler hit a “life-changing” jackpot in Northern California, a casino said.
The player won a progressive jackpot of $250,250 on the Buffalo Link slot machine at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, the casino said in a Jan. 13 news release.
The player’s win happened roughly two weeks after another big jackpot – of $250,650 – on New Year’s Day, the casino said.
“What an incredible start to the year for Thunder Valley and our guests,” Dawn Clayton, the general manager, said in the news release.
Last year, the casino saw “dozens of six-figure payouts” and a $1.2 million jackpot win, according to the casino.
Lincoln is a roughly 30-mile drive northeast from Sacramento.
