A woman wearing a “Palisades Strong” T-shirt was arrested after she was accused of stealing antiques from a home destroyed by the wildfire, California authorities say.

California Highway Patrol officers got a report of looting at a Pacific Palisades home at about 1 p.m. Feb. 21, CHP - Southern Division said in a Facebook post.

A person was seen “looting a burned-down residence that had been severely impacted by the recent fires,” according to officers.

The home was among the nearly 7,000 structures destroyed during the deadly wildfire.

The home was among the nearly 7,000 structures destroyed during the deadly wildfire that ravaged more than 23,000 acres.

When officers arrived, they could not find the suspect, officials said.

The homeowner gave officers a description of the accused looter and their car, which officers said they learned was registered to a home in Valencia.

After driving to the home, officers found and arrested a woman, who officials say was found with “antique items” from the Pacific Palisades home.
