Nearly a year after skeletal remains were found in a California field, police are looking to the public for answers.

Redlands Police detectives are seeking information that could help identify remains found on Oct. 21, 2024, according to an Aug. 5 Facebook post from the department.

The remains, located in a field a short distance from Interstate 210 in Redlands, are believed to be those of a woman between the ages of 24 and 45, police said.

“She had medium length, dark colored hair and was wearing a ‘Citrus Valley Blackhawks’ soccer pullover sweatshirt with a white tank top,” police said.

In a photo of a replica shared by police, the tank top depicts a woman surrounded by butterflies and uplifting sayings, including: “my life is full of love and happiness” and “keep going.”

A catheter was also found along with the remains, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Thomas Williams at 909-335-4777, or email him at twilliams@redlandspolice.org.

Redlands is about a 60-mile drive east from Los Angeles.
