Mexican legend Ana Gabriel brought the party to the Save Mart Center on Saturday just in time for National Hispanic Heritage Month.

The Latin pop singer and songwriter performed in Fresno in her new “Claro de Luna Tour.” More than 7,000 fans sang along for almost three hours to her beloved hits, from Latin pop and ballads to rancheras and mariachi.

“I came out to sing, to cheer your hearts and to have a big party. What do you think of Fresno? Are you ready?” said the singer in Spanish.

She took the stage dressed in a set of gray dress pants and vests and a hot pink blouse the same color as her pair of sneaker shoes singing “Evidendias” and “Y Aquí Estoy.”

Gabriel brought some surprises.

The Mariachi Tenochtitlan appeared on stage to accompany the singer for the traditional hits, “Mexico Lindo y Querido” and “Cielito Lindo,” as Gabrierl held a Mexican flag over her shoulders and sang ranchera music.

The 69-year-old vocalist from Guamúchil, Sinaloa, Mexico said she was thankful for her fans who came to see her perform.

“I am an artist made by the public. I am an artist who has been walking, advancing, for so many years, and I never stay still,” she said.

Fresno was her fourth stop of her tour across in 19 U.S. cities.

The singer, whose nickname is the “Diva de América,” also surprised her fans with banda singing “El Sinaloense.”

Saturday show was Ana Gabriel’s second time performing at the Save Mart Center.

In 2020, Ana Gabriel booked her first show at the Save Mart Center, which was postponed and then cancelled due to the pandemic. She came back in 2022 with her “Por Amor a Ustedes World Tour.”
