Half-off Disneyland tickets for California residents? Here’s when to claim deal

California residents will soon be able to visit Disneyland Resort for half the price.

The popular Southern California theme park is offering discount passes for people living in the Golden State — provided they purchase three-day park hopper passes.

That means you can visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim for just $83 per day, theme park officials said.

“Many of our guests come from our home state of California, which makes this offer perfectly timed to celebrate a new year with our neighbors,” the company said on the official Disney Parks Blog.

Here’s what to know the specially priced tickets, including when they go on sale:

How much do Disneyland tickets cost?

As of Wednesday, Nov. 19, visitors ages 10 and up could visit either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park for $169 to $224 a day, according to Disneyland Resort’s official ticket website.

Single-park admission for guests ages 3 to 9 cost $159 to $214 per day.

Prices differ by day, and children 2 and younger get in free.

What are prices for park hopper passes?

Park hopper tickets allow visitors to “maximize the magic” by exploring both theme parks on the same day, Disneyland Resort said on its website.

As of Wednesday, guests 10 and up could expect to spend $249 to $314 for a park hopper ticket depending on the day, while park hopper passes for younger guests cost $239 to $304.

How much can I save with California resident discount?

California residents will be able to purchase hree-day park hopper passes for ages 3 and up for $83 per day, or $249 total, Disneyland Resort officials said.

That’s 50% off the regular price.

California residents can buy tickets with Lightning Lane passes, which allow riders to bypass lines on many rides, for $117 per day, or $351 total.

When do half-price Disneyland tickets go on sale?

Half-price Disneyland tickets for California residents go on sale Wednesday, Dec. 3, officials said.

The offer is only good for a limited time, but Disneyland did not specify when it will end.

Who qualifies to buy Disneyland ticket deal?

The offer is only good for California residents within ZIP codes 90000 to 96199.

“Proof of eligible residency, including valid government-issued photo ID, is required for both purchase and admission,” Disneyland Resort said.

When can I use discount Disneyland tickets?

According to Disneyland Report, the discounted tickets are valid Thursday, Jan. 1, through Thursday, May 21, 2026.

They can be used on non-consecutive days, officials said.

Reservations are required, and it may be difficult to get tickets shortly before the planned dates, Disneyland said.
