Northern California player wins big in SuperLotto Plus. Where was ticket sold?

A SuperLotto Plus ticket sold in Northern California just missed the $14 million jackpot but still won big, lottery officials said.

The ticket matched five winning numbers but not the mega number in the drawing Saturday, April 26 to win $30,084, the California State Lottery said.

The winning numbers were 1, 6, 8, 23 and 38, with a mega number of 22, the site said.

Where was the lucky SuperLotto Plus ticket sold?

The lucky ticket was sold at M.C. Liquor & Grocery at 2920 Pennington Road in Live Oak, which is about 55 miles north of Sacramento, the lottery said.

What is the SuperLotto Plus jackpot now?

The grand prize rises to an estimated 15 million, with a cash value of about $6.7 million, for the next drawing Wednesday, April 29.

More than 85,000 other SuperLotto Plus tickets sold in California also won prizes ranging from $1 to $2,148, the lottery said.

The SuperLotto Plus jackpot was last won March 28, when a ticket purchased in Fremont won $10 million, The Sacramento Bee reported.

What to know about SuperLotto Plus

To score a jackpot in SuperLotto Plus, a player must match all five numbers and the mega number.

The odds of scoring the jackpot prize are 1 in 41,416,353.

Tickets can be bought for $1 on the day of the drawing.

Drawings take place Saturdays and Wednesdays after the draw entry closes at 7:45 p.m.

  • Download the California Lottery mobile app to see winning numbers.
  • Scan your ticket using the Check-A-Ticket feature on the lottery app.
  • Use the Check-A-Ticket machine at a California Lottery retail location.

How do I claim my prize?

If you win, you can claim your prize of up to $599 at any participating lottery retailer, according to the California Lottery.

Prizes of $600 or higher can be collected at any California Lottery district office or by mail.

You have 180 days from the date of the winning drawing to claim your prize, lottery officials said.
