Jason Aldean, Motley Crue to visit Sacramento area for $30 ‘Summer of Live’ shows

A “Summer of Live” promotion for Live Nation offers $30 tickets for more than 4,000 shows across the United States, including acts scheduled to visit Northern California.

Tickets went on sale Thursday, and some shows are already sold out of the bargain-price tickets. The promotion continues through May 5.

Many of the acts scheduled to perform in Northern California, including Kesha, Jeff Foxworthy, KC & the Sunshine Band and Lil Wayne, will appear in San Francisco, Reno or Tahoe.

Here’s the list of “Summer of Live” shows set for the Sacramento and Fresno areas:

  • Tim Allen at Hard Rock Live Sacramento in Wheatland on May 9.
  • MGK will perform at the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland on May 15.
  • Night Ranger at Hard Rock Live Sacramento in Wheatland on June 20.
  • Jason Aldean will perform at the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland on Aug. 14.
  • The Black Crowes at the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland on Aug. 19.
  • “Weird Al” Yankovic will perform at the Save Mart Center in Fresno on Sept. 12.
  • Earth, Wind & Fire at Hard Rock Live Sacramento in Wheatland on Sept. 15.
  • Motley Crue at the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland on Sept. 23.
  • America at Hard Rock Live Sacramento in Wheatland on Sept. 29.
  • UB40 at Hard Rock Live Sacramento in Wheatland on Oct. 22.
