Northern California player wins big in SuperLotto Plus. Where was ticket sold?
A SuperLotto Plus ticket sold in Northern California just missed the $18 million jackpot but still won big, lottery officials said.
The ticket matched five winning numbers but not the mega number in the drawing Saturday, May 9, to win $32,299, the California State Lottery said.
The winning numbers were 12, 18, 24, 25 and 43, with a mega number of 4, the site said.
Where was the lucky SuperLotto Plus ticket sold?
The lucky ticket was sold at CVS at 1871 El Camino Real in Burlingame, which is about 30 miles south of San Francisco, the lottery said.
What is the SuperLotto Plus jackpot now?
The grand prize now resets to an estimated $19 million, with a cash value of about $8.5 million, for the next drawing Wednesday, May 13.
More than 85,000 other SuperLotto Plus tickets sold in California also won prizes ranging from $1 to $1,614, the lottery said.
The SuperLotto Plus jackpot was last won March 28, when a ticket purchased in Fremont won $10 million, The Sacramento Bee reported.

To score a jackpot in SuperLotto Plus, a player must match all five numbers and the mega number.
The odds of scoring the jackpot prize are 1 in 41,416,353.
Tickets can be bought for $1 on the day of the drawing.
Drawings take place Saturdays and Wednesdays after the draw entry closes at 7:45 p.m.

You have 180 days from the date of the winning drawing to claim your prize, lottery officials said.
