Two gamblers at Thunder Valley Casino Resort near Sacramento won back-to-back jackpots of more than $200,000 apiece, casino officials reported.

The first player won a $203,945 progressive jackpot on a 5-cent “Buffalo Link” slot machine Thursday, June 4, the casino said.

The second won a $205,218 progressive jackpot on a 50-cent “Buffalo Link” slot machine minutes later, the casino said.

They are the 18th and 19th six-figure jackpots at the casino in 2026.

“This is what we live for here at Thunder Valley,” said Dawn Clayton, general manager of Thunder Valley Casino Resort. “There’s nothing better than seeing not one, but two of our guests walk away with six-figure jackpots like this. Congratulations to our lucky winners!”

More than 251,000 jackpots have been hit at the casino in the past 12 months, averaging nearly 700 jackpots every day, or approximately one jackpot every two minutes.

Thunder Valley Casino Resort at 1200 Athens Ave. in Lincoln has 3,500 slot machines and 89 table games. It is about 35 miles northeast of Sacramento.
