Vegetation fire burns 40 acres in Sacramento County
Crews on Monday afternoon contained a vegetation fire in Sacramento County near Gerber and Bradshaw roads.
Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District personnel kept it to 41 acres, sparing two nearby houses, the district reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
