Explore new map that shows detailed aerial imagery of Paradise after the Camp Fire

A new collection of aerial imagery released by Google on Friday gives striking views of the destruction wrought by the Camp Fire in Paradise last month. The fire claimed 86 lives.

The imagery, taken Wednesday, was released by Google’s Crisis Response Team. The team released imagery of the area on Nov. 17, but much of the damage to Paradise was obscured by haze or clouds. The December imagery provides a clearer picture.
