A grass fire involving outbuildings is burning near Elk Grove and Vineyard early Friday afternoon, authorities say.

Calvine Road is closed between Bader and Vineyard roads in southeast Sacramento County as crews with the Cosumnes and Sacramento Metro fire departments fight the grass fire, the Elk Grove Police Department said in a tweet around 12:45 p.m.

The Cosumnes Fire Department tweeted that crews are at the scene of a “vegetation fire involving outbuildings,” with no injuries reported.

No other details, including estimates on the size of the fire, were immediately available.
