Grass fire causes power outage in south Sacramento
A 2-acre grass fire Saturday morning in south Sacramento damaged a power line and several truck trailers and boats, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District reported.
The fire, which started about 8 a.m. at Tokay Lane and Hedge Avenue, was contained an hour later, fire officials said. Power was restored to the area about 9:30 a.m., according to the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
