“We play an important role both in the community and criminal justice system, and we do not underestimate the effect we have on the possible spread of COVID-19,” probation officials wrote in the Facebook post.
They also said adults on probation who do not have an assigned officer should call the main department line at 916-875-0300 or send an email to probationclient-in@saccounty.net.
Those checking-in should include their full name, an X-reference number, date of birth, current phone number and current home address. Juvenile check-ins can call 916-875-4600.
