California Gov. Gavin Newsom delivered remarks on his coronavirus response at a press conference on Friday. Watch a recording of a livestream of the event by clicking on the video above.

California is currently in Phase 2 of the governor’s reopening plan. That includes the reopening of retail locations for pickup, as well as child care facilities and, in some counties, restaurants for dine-in with some modifications.

At least 3,542 Californians have died after contracting the virus, according to the state Department of Public Health.
