Need a last minute COVID-19 test in Sacramento? Here are some of your options

As holiday travel and coronavirus cases climb, so are demands for COVID-19 tests.

California is recommending that everyone gets tested before traveling and at least three to five days after returning to the Golden State.

Currently, the state is seeing a rise in coronavirus cases, with a daily average of 5,289 as of Dec. 21. Cases in Sacramento are also increasing, according to the county COVID dashboard. As of Dec. 17, the seven-day average is 215 cases.

Some sites are running low on rapid antigen tests, but offer PCR testing, which usually takes a few days to send back results.
