California’s violent crime rate dropped almost 25 percent between 2008 and 2013, according to new FBI statistics.

Murders dropped by 300. Rapes fell by 1,200. Robberies declined by 14,000.

Violent crime fell in most of Sacramento’s cities.

This database shows crime trends for all California cities between 2008 and 2013.
