Hello! I’m Jeong Park of The Sacramento Bee’s community-funded Equity Lab. I cover labor, California’s economy and inequity through the lens of how they affect the lives of working people.

That means reporting on California gig workers struggling to pay their bills during the pandemic, helping you better understand the state’s workplace rules on masks and social distancing and exploring solutions to help people find fulfilling jobs.

As California reopens, I want to better understand what you’re thinking. What questions would you like me to answer? How can I improve my work and be a better resource for you and other California workers?

Please answer our survey below to help us be better informed. You can also e-mail me at jpark@sacbee.com or follow me on Twitter @jeongpark52.

Also, I want to meet with you in person. Throughout August, I’ll be at Starbucks at 10th and L streets on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to Noon. I look forward to hearing from you.
