Sacramento R&B festival Sol Blume to return this spring after two-year break
After a two-year hiatus, Sol Blume, an independent music festival, is returning to Sacramento’s Discovery Park for a two-day R&B, soul, and hip-hop spectacle on April 30 and May 1.
Tickets for the event will go on sale Jan. 31. Ticket purchases can be made at www.solblume.com.
Two-day general admission tickets start at $200, while weekend VIP passes will begin at $400. Prices are subject to increase as the festival date approaches.
“We’re excited for the opportunity to continue to bring a carefully curated and unique R&B experience to Sacramento. We took two years off due to the pandemic, which gave us more time to evolve Sol Blume further,” said Festival Founder Fornati Kumeh.
Sol Blume is Sacramento’s largest festival dedicated to R&B and soul music.
The music lineup consists of a combination of award-winning singers, songwriters, emerging stars, and more — many of whom are performing in Sacramento for the first time.
The star-studded, female-led selection features artists such as Jhene Aiko, Summer Walker, Jorja Smith, and more.
Additional acts range from PartyNextDoor, Thundercat, SiR, D Smoke, plus Smino, Lucky Daye and others.
“We’ve listened to our Blumers, and this year we are grateful to embrace our new home at Sacramento’s historic Discovery Park and expand to a two-day event. Sol Blume 2022 marks year three and the best yet, from the lineup to the venue and overall vibe and experience. We can’t wait to Blume in Sacramento this spring.”
