More of the same Sacramento weather: temperatures in 70s

Little change in the weather is forecast for this week.

Temperatures are expected to be about 10 degrees above normal and skies are forecast to be devoid of storm clouds. The high today in Sacramento is predicted to come in at 71 degrees as a high pressure ridge remains just off the west coast.

The glorious – yet, sadly dry weather – that bathed Sacramento on Monday led to a high of 73 degrees, which was just short of the record of 76 degrees set in 1977. That’s also the record for today, also set in 1977, when there were three record-setting days in a row of 76 degrees.
