Cloudy Sunday in Sacramento but week ahead looks better

Sacramentans looking to enjoy fall under some blue skies are in luck this week.

Sunday will likely stay cloudy, though the scattered showers expected Sunday morning have cleared up, said National Weather Service meteorologist Mike Kochasic. The week ahead will be dry and sunny until the weekend.

“We are expecting this week temperatures in the lower 70s and that’s steady throughout the week,” Kochasic said. “That’s right about normal for this time of year.”

There’s a slight chance of rain Friday and Saturday, he said, but no snow is expected in the mountains.
