Good morning. Here’s what you need to know today:

Weather lead in: Warm daytime temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend as a high-pressure system continues to influence weather in the Sacramento region. The ridge of high pressure over the western United States is expected to produce high temperatures 10 degrees above normal, with nighttime lows predicted to come in at about normal. Weekend maximum temperatures predicted by the National Weather Service: Sacramento: 73 today, 74 on Sunday. Normal high: 65 degrees.

Lawsuit causing delay: A lawsuit challenging the city’s $255 million arena subsidy is holding up the bond sale. With interest rates expected to increase, city officials say the delay could cost millions.

Father arrested: The father of a baby found dead in a Yolo County slough was arrested Friday afternoon by Yolo County Sheriff’s deputies on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and ammunition as an ex-felon at his Woodland home, officials announced.
