Event celebrates resource center

A ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the River Oak Center for Children’s new Birth and Beyond Family Resource Center is planned at 10 a.m. at 4625 44th St., Room 36, in Sacramento. County Supervisor Phil Serna and other elected officials will speak at the event, which also includes facility tours.

Cling Peach Day event in Yuba City

The 22nd annual Sacramento Valley Cling Peach Day takes place from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Ag Building Meeting Room, 142 Garden Highway in Yuba City. It’s ‘Groundhog Day’ at Tower

“Groundhog Day,” starring Bill Murray, will be screened at 7 p.m. at Tower Theatre, 2508 Land Park Drive, Sacramento.
