Chance of rain starting tonight for Sacramento

It’s the calm before the wimpy storm as Sacramento soaks in one more day of sunshine before showers.

The high on Monday was 78 degrees, pretty close to what is forecast for Tuesday. However, skies are predicted to be a bit hazy because clouds will be filtering into the region in advance of a minor weather system.

There’s a slight chance that showers will arrive Tuesday night, but a better chance that some precipitation will fall on Wednesday. In any event, only less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected in Sacramento.

By Thursday, the rain event will be a memory. Dry weather and abnormally high temperatures will return with an 80-degree reading expected on Saturday in Sacramento.
