Tour the state archives

A behind-the-scenes free tour of the California State Archives is offered from noon to 1 p.m. on the building’s fourth floor, 1020 O St., Sacramento. Archives staff will provide a guided tour of the collections documenting California’s history and state government. The archives’ collections of historic records include more than 100 million documents, 20,000 maps, architectural drawings, 250,000 photographs and thousands of video and audio recordings. Dancers perform at CSUS

“Sacramento/Black Art of Dance 2017” performances continue at California State University, Sacramento. The performances include pieces choreographed by faculty and local artists. Organist plays at cathedral

A concert featuring organist Kevin J. Vaughn is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, 1017 11th St., Sacramento. Vaughn is the director of music and organist at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in South Bend, Ind., and adjunct assistant professor of piano and organ at the University of Notre Dame.
